Lochend Stud is a small family owned and operated Horse Stud, situated on the fertile flood plains of Maitland in the heart of NSW’s Hunter Valley region.

 

Lochend Stud is currently operated by Paul Carmody assisted by his wife Sharon, their daughter Kelly, son Daniel, daughter-in-law Kayla and four small grandchildren Carter, Annika, Caleb and Rohan.

 

Lochend Stud was founded in 1973 by Paul’s father Hugh and has been standing high quality, affordable stallions since then. Lochend Stud is also known for the quality of yearlings it produces each year at the Annual Yearling Sales.
